Overview

We wait and we wait … for what’s next, for the right person to come along, for the perfect job, and for the right time to buy our first home. We wait when we don’t know what to do next, and people come and go from our lives during the process. And most of the time, we don’t like the wait.

Whether you’re a college student waiting for school to end, a young professional waiting on your career to take off, or simply a young adult waiting on one of the many big ‘waits’ we experience in life, in this study you’ll learn that waiting for a calling or purpose dates all the way back to the days of biblical figures such as Joseph, David, and even Jesus—men who had to wait many years to see God’s promises come to pass. Their lives hold great insight for you as you discover there is great purpose in the waiting. God uses those times to sharpen our sense of awareness and to teach us a better understanding of His timing and faithfulness.

Study Length: 6 Sessions
