Feast Finding Your Place at the Table of Tradition

Overview

In the constantly changing world of the 21st century, people everywhere are hungry for something stable and lasting. Feast is an answer to that hunger. Leman takes readers through a journey of remembering the six major feasts of the Jewish calendar, examining their historical meaning, and helping Christ-followers discover the richness of tradition and what those timeless practices mean today.

In an engaging and easy-to-understand way, Leman will challenge you to consider the purpose of tradition in the context of these holidays that Jesus Himself celebrated on a yearly basis. Each feast explored in the study — including the Passover, the Feast of Tabernacles, Hanukkah, and others — is digested from a historical, contemporary, and Christian perspective.

Derek Leman

Derek Leman is the rabbi at Tikvat David Messianic Synagogue in Roswell, Georgia, a synagogue of Jewish and non-Jewish followers of Jesus. Derek has written six books prior to Feast and is also a frequent theological and cultural commentator at his blog. Derek and his wife, Linda, live large with their eight (and counting) children.
