Life a Weblog for Young Adults

It has been said that we, as humans, are creatures of habit. The part that troubles me the most is that my habits are both good and bad. They can work for me and they can work against me. The issue is not whether habits actually exist… the issue is what I choose to do with them.

Bumped from our overseas flight and weary after hours at the embassy, we began walking through Los Angeles. When one of my companions pointed out that my feet had begun to bleed from so much walking, all I could say was, “Well, at least this will make a good story.”

As cynical as it may sound, the quip from famous atheist Bertrand Russell that “most Christians would rather die than think” makes me wince because it smacks a little too much of the truth. But I’m glad that, stereotypes aside, it’s not an oxymoron to be a Christian thinker.

The group of four file out of the sanctuary. You would think they’d be tired, after a ‘quick’ sound check that lasted over an hour. The four guys, cleverly disguised as at-or-near twenty-somethings with a worship hobby, step up to the mics for their voice over.
