The above choices are all look good. I haven’t read a few of them, so I’m looking forward to getting them.
A few books that I have really enjoyed and have helped me in young adult ministry are:
Simple Church by Eric Geiger– Although Essential Church (download Essential Church for free: http://www.bhpublishinggroup.com/leadership/contestslw.asp) addresses some of the same things, it helped me simplify the way we do things in our ministry.
The Search to Belong by Joseph Meyers– This book really helped me pull together my thoughts on community and how people “belong” to one another.
In Search of Authentic Faith by Steve Rabey– Rabey does a good job of pulling a lot of things together to take a look at the church in America and how younger generations are “doing church”.
