Lead a Weblog for Young Adult Leaders

Many unchurched young adults think: “Christians are insincere and concerned only with converting others.” If this true, there is a big problem to solve, a monstrous issue to pray over and a fundamental change to ponder on how the church should address evangelism for this generation.

As leaders in ministry we face two great temptations: 1) to blame ourselves for the apparent failures in our ministry efforts, or 2) to pat ourselves on the back for the good things that happen. The truth is, nothing that you do can equate to spiritual impact and growth.

Do you have a spiritual Achilles heel, the issue where you most often come back to God asking for forgiveness and re-direction? I do: I regularly make my plans before I pray. I’m the kind of ridiculous mess of a person who spends time under the delusion that the future of mankind rests on me.
