Have we learned the importance and place for leisure within the greater call of making disciples? Times of levity help break the monotony of life. Playing with others helps further along important relationships that, in turn, draw each of us closer to not only each other, but to God as well.

The church ought to be the most creative place on the planet. That is one of the core convictions that drives the way we do ministry at National Community Church. Creativity is part of the imago Dei. All you have to do is take one glance at God’s green earth.

Normal people run away. But not lion chasers! Lion chasers are a different breed. They don’t see five-hundred pound problems. When opportunity roars, they grab life by the mane! Those are the experiences that make life worth living. Those are the experiences worth telling stories about.

Most relationship problems are rooted in basic communication problems. In the same way, many have “God problems” that are rooted in a communication problem - they don’t hear from the Father. What about you? As a leader, does it appear that God has gone silent?
