Threads Virtual Coffee Break (July 14-18)

The Threads Virtual Coffee Break is a week-long conversation between Threads authors/team members and you (and up to four other people.) If you have some specific questions for a Threads author or just like the idea of getting to have a virtual coffee break with him or her, then all you need to do are these four things:

1. Check your broadband Internet connection. Seems like a given for an online video conversation…but we don’t want to assume anything here.
2. Use your webcam and headset. If your webcam has a microphone built in, just use some headphones/earbuds so there’s not audio feedback for everyone else.
3. Download a free copy of ooVoo, the video chat software. Get your copy of ooVoo at http://oovoo.com.
4. Sign up for a 30 minute conversation. Join a conversation with the person of your choice. If you want to sign up for more than one half hour slot with a different person, feel free to do so. Please don’t sign up for more than one time per author.
