The Best Movie Release of the Last 30 Days
Since your brain may be a little soft from the holidays, we’re going to ease into 2008 with an easy to engage topic. What is your favorite movie of the past 30 days? I have seen only two: National Treasure 2 and Alvin and the Chipmunks.
While Christmas Don’t Be Late (the Hula-Hoop Song) is hard to vote against, I am going with Nicolas Cage over Jason Lee because you can only watch or listen to approximately 20 minutes of Alvin, Theodore and Simon without your head exploding.Interestingly enough, both of these movies have made more than $175 million since their release. Tom Hanks, eat your heart out.
I have not seen I Am Legend, but I understand it is a strong contender due to Will Smith’s fitness and disturbing virus-crazed mutants who aren’t crazy about sunshine. I was looking forward to the new Rambo flick, but after watching five minutes of American Gladiator last night, I think I have already exceeded my quotas for watching headbands, violence and disturbing, manic, steroid-inflated superheroes for the month of January.
What is the best movie you have seen out of this lot?

I have seen way too many movies over the last 30 days…more than I will admit. I will skip the list and just put my vote in for Juno. Morally it struggles at points but the over message, the witty dialogue, and the whimsical music make it my favorite for the past 30 days.

I saw the new St Trinians movie over Christmas, which I found hilarious. I watched the old black and white ones as a kid so it was kinda fun going to see it with my sister - a trip down memory lane for sure!

Iwent to see Enchanted.I was feeling blue and after 5 minutes i was laughing.I t brought up the romance vs. pracitical that i struggle with.I push the need for romance aside because I’m fearful that it won’t be met. But I still enjoyed the movie.

Got to see these 3. Haven’t made it yet? Has anyone see Cloverfield? Is it worth seeing?
