Faith Journey

by Mike Harder on March 07, 2007

Beginning anything is always a challenge. This is really true of us starting a church. If you haven’t heard, I am moving to Nashville to start a church this summer. I have always wanted to start a church and felt that God was calling me to do something like this ever since I was 10 years old. Kind of weird and abnormal huh? Most people don’t think that will be their destiny. It’s weird but I wouldn’t have it any other way. God has really been showing himself to be alive and real during these times where we have to live out our faith. I heard a guy talk about that the other day. He said that faith is pretty easy to learn about intellectually but when you have to feel it emotionally it is a whole different ball game. I agree. It’s one thing to hear about faith from a speaker guy or in a seminary classroom but to have to have God come through for you is a whole different ball game.

If you are out there and want to pray for us as we feel this faith it would be awesome. I have a feeling that this is a faith journey that will shake our lives and the lives of the people who dare to walk with us and God! It’s really exciting to dream again though.
