Enjoy A Refreshing Ham Soda

by Jason Hayes on November 10, 2007

I recently came upon an article on CNN.com that made me laugh out loud. Here’s just a snippet from the article:

Coming soon next to the Coke and Pepsi in a store near you: ham-and latke-flavored soda to make your holiday feast complete. Jones Soda Co., the Seattle-based purveyor of offbeat fizzy water, is selling holiday-themed limited-edition packs of flavored sodas. The Christmas pack will feature such flavors as Sugar Plum, Christmas Tree, Egg Nog and Christmas Ham. The Hanukkah pack will have Jelly Doughnut, Apple Sauce, Chocolate Coins and Latkes sodas.

You can click HERE for the entire article.

After reading through their list of flavors, I have decided to offer my own creative energies to this matter. Here’s a list of my suggestions for other holiday sodas.

  1. Presidential Punch (President’s Day)
  2. Turkey and Dressing (Thanksgiving)
  3. Candy Corn (Halloween)
  4. Peeps and Deviled Egg Delight (Easter)
  5. Conversation Heart (Valentine’s Day)
  6. Irish Lamb Stew (St. Patrick’s Day)
  7. Bottle Rocket Blast (4th Of July)
  8. Chips and Salsa (Cinco De Mayo)
  9. Dirt (Earth Day)
  10. Aluminum Pole (Festivus)

Be sure to add your own suggestions as well.
