LifeMatters: Walking in His Steps
The writer of Hebrews rewinds to the earliest days of Israel when they were a group of people rather than a territory with boundaries. God’s power wasn’t a theory. Think about all that great movie fodder—parting seas, water from rocks, fire on the mountain—all acts of God in Spielberg proportions. When all those astounding, holy, fantastic moments were happening all around them, the Israelites were sneaking around, worshiping idols, fighting each other, and acting like Americans.
Greg Ludwig’s Story
Tonight, the last night for worship at Collegiate Week East at Ridgecrest, was such an amazing experience in the presence of the Lord. When Dave Hunt finished his last song, no one wanted to leave. Dave and the band kept rocking it out leading us in worship. Tonight was life changing for Greg Ludwig from Indiana, who accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Check out this video of him telling his story.
Live from Collegiate Week at Ridgecrest!
Collegiate Week here at Ridgecrest has been amazing so far this week. The theme is His World…Our Response so, community group sessions are challenging college students to pray about how the Lord would call them to be involved in His world as they experience Him in a refreshing way this week. A variety of speakers are taking the stage during the morning sessions with students giving missions testimonies as well. Tony Merida is speaking during the night celebrations with Dave Hunt leading worship.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting snippets about our upcoming fall tour of Connect Conferences. Although I’ve mentioned these events some before, there hasn’t been as much intentionality compared to what you’ll be seeing in the coming days. I just want to make sure you are aware of how great and unique these intimate conferences will really be. Well, let the party begin. One of the featured speakers at our Charlotte and Jackson locations is Margaret Feinberg. If you aren’t familiar with Margaret, you should be!
